The ARES 8-Inch Heavy Duty Electrical Cable Cutting Pliers feature precision-machined knife and anvil style cutting blades capable of easily shearing soft 4/0 aluminum, 2/0 soft copper, 7/8-inch coaxial cable and 100-pair 24 AWG communications cable. These pliers are also suitable for cutting a maximum of 7/16” (38mm2) diameter cable. The beveled jaw blades provide proper mating, maintaining jaw edge sharpness, and the cable gripping shaped blade keeps cable in place when cutting. Constructed of premium grade forged chrome moly alloy steel with a corrosion-resistant black oxide finish for tool longevity, these cable cutters feature textured rubber dipped handles for superior grip.
